For those who are wondering what this outrage is about. Just read this snippet from the novel and you’ll know how much the studio brutalise her character (and her ability).

When the Nine Treasure Divine Light Protection was used, it would separate from the spirit master and no longer draw any of Ning Rongrong’s spirit power. At the same time it also wouldn’t influence her boosting the others. In fact, even Title Douluo level powers were quite good if they could use their ninth spirit ability attack three or four times with their full strength. This was also why Ning Rongrong told her comrades to not pay any attention to her.

Even though that agility attack type Title Douluo was strong, he had focused most of his spirit power on speed in order to deal with Ning Rongrong as soon as possible. It seemed to him that his attack power was enough and spare to easily end Ning Rongrong’s life even without using spirit abilities.

But who could have thought he would knock headfirst into Ning Rongrong’s Nine Treasure Divine Light Protection.
With a loud sound, that pitiful Black Lined Ghost Panther spirit master was flung back, the spirit power added to his attack completely absorbed by the Nine Treasure Divine Light Protection. Not only was there no harm to Ning Rongrong, he was instead injured by the countershock.

I’m really not trying to be nit picky but this is too much! They have been nerfing TS’s power all the while and I understand they’re trying to build up the suspense and angst but poor Rong Rong already has so few highlights and how could they take that away from her!! 😡

We know for a fact that she went on a Soul Beast hunting spree with Tang San to get her skills. She did get Soul Rings replacements (And they're all at higher levels) and the Soul Ring she dropped for Tang San when she sacrificed as a 100,000+ Soul Beast was also returned to her by Tang San.

erm, it was just me having a brain fart in regard to her abilities. After checking wiki, it seems she has 2 abilities on her 6th ring.... 8 stage drop which is an insta-kill skill and nothingness which is a strong defensive skill.

Aww man, I won't lie, XW taking on that bear fool had me smiling, who doesn't love a woman who can fend for herself when need be, that's some sexy shii (even though she wasn't doing that much damage she was still giving him that work, that business aha), go on with her bad self!!

And while we're on female power, I'm impressed by RongRong, she been showing up everyone. I'd say she's the 2nd backbone after TS now, the support she's been providing is amazing, the little weak/delicate runt (damsel in distress) has become a tough bada$$ woman. She's actually useful now lol, glad she wasn't left behind but catapulted and even surpassed some of the others. She probably had the biggest growth out of all the shreks, being able to officially claim that title, proving she belongs there with the rest. Proud of her!!

Them huge rods was scary as heck, being impaled by those things was instant death!!

They still short-changed Rong Rong today. If you read my lil’ snippet from the novel, you’ll understand why the Chinese fans are in an uproar over today’s episode. For me it’s simple, Rong Rong was displaying her 8th soul skill from a freaking red ring vs a normal black ring soul skill from the panther guy!! All for the sake of theatrics!

Oh, that small detail between the rings is impressive.

And I can understand why they're upset, that's some unnecessary changes at the expense of RongRong smh. She definitely deserved a better representation, they basically just dimmed her light to make the enemy look more threatening, needing help from the sword guy. But really just further downplayed RongRong's strength and how far she came, it would've been better if we seen her in all her glory, showing her growth and the power of her ability to tank a Title Douluo. And not just a support type being able to go toe to toe with a powerful enemy, but how his decisions affected the battle thinking she was lightweight and would go down easily, as he finally realized his terrible mistake, failing his task and acknowledging she's a tough a$$ chick. The short snippet from the novel told it all so elegantly, it gave so many different points and if they followed it to the last letter, we would've saw such a beautiful scene that could show us every angle the author intended. What a let down, truly a disappointing moment and waste.

It's basically a dungeon raid at this point. Support role are very useful or else team wipeout.

I sadly have not read the novel but to me Rong Rong was super boss in this episode!! I understand why they nerfed her power a bit for the plot of the Donghua but I still enjoyed the heck out of this!!

after bibi dong got beaten up and then reinforcement from qian dao liu came and forcing tang san to retreat in that moment tang hao and tang xiao came and beat the reinforcement, but idk if the anime will follow the novel in detail, because they already change many scene just like rong rong, in the novel rong rong can hold up against that douluo but in this anime she got help from chen xin

To me, these battle scenes are better than novel.

For me in this fight tang san is far too nerfed although bibi dong level is much higher, but in novel at least tang san show off his all ring configuration and shock his enemy and manage to injure bibi dong

Don't count on them, hao tian zhong is like that teammate that talk shit about how good is this and that. And you know he's good but when it comes to doing things he's no where to be found.

We can say that the whole battle revolves around BiBiDong and TS as well as the others. There is practically no point in having any of the normal troops around. This was the danger in having a story with these characters in the middle of a war. Really, whats the point in having an army when you have these people that can take out the whole army at once? It kind of ruins the whole concept.

She is totally losing it. Tang San and his allies are dominating the battle fields.

Tang San is supposed to be the strongest. Xiao Wu at the present is only level 70+ and yet she's holding her own against a Level 90+ Titled Douluo.

Remember that every level above 90 is a jump comparable or higher than Level 1 to 50! (i.e 91 to 92 to 93 etc..)
